Gamers Solve AIDS-Related Puzzle
A group of scientists from the University of Washington used some forward thinking and realized the inherent power of gaming. Amazingly, gamers managed to solve the structure of a retrovirus enzyme (one which is very similar to the AIDS virus) in just three weeks using Foldit. Read more here.
